Top selling car

We recently acquired 2 of the top selling cars of 2008. It's not what you think, don't worry we didn't go out and purchase any big ticket automobile. Let me rewind to Saturday when we had our neighborhood bbq. When we got there the street was blocked off and there were toys, face painting (courtesy of Ashley and her friend Randy) and all kinds of kids activities. Preston immediately went to the red and yellow cozy coupe. There was no way that any other kid was going to have a chance to ride in the cozy coupe, Preston was not giving it up. Aaron and I decided to go out on Sunday to buy both him and Lily one. They really don't have many outdoor toys and the weather is finally warm enough to go outside.

P J Day!

Around here when it's rainy, foggy and not a day we want go outside we have a PJ day. It is now 3:00 and we are all still in our PJ's. Well except for Ashley she just got off the couch to take a shower. She is out of school until Thurs which is her last day. We have been reading books, doing puzzles and even found a bug. Here are a few pictures from our PJ day.

After nap today we went outside for some popsicles and water play.

Cute outfits!

When our visitors came they came with gifts......... clothes from the U. S. Missy made the babies these cute outfits on her embroider machine. She felt really bad that she spelled Lily's name wrong but we don't care. We love it. I am thinking I will be needing one of those machines in the future. I am imagining lots of cute monogramming in my future.

Blackberry Jam

I recently made a comment on Robyn's blog that we love blackberry jam. She made some home made and promised if it was good she would send me some. Well she did and it was wonderful. In fact we are down to the last of it in the jar. We ate it on waffles, toast and bagels. Aaron's family also tried some while they were visiting and Robyn you get a big thumbs up.

Sorry it took so long. Everytime I eat it I think hmmmm I need to blog about this. Actually I need to blog about alot of things but the days just aren't long enough.
