We have been working on sitting up. They do well when they have a toy so they can concentrate on NOT falling.

Video home tour
Here is a video of the inside of our house. People have been asking for pics so here you are. The thing I love about this house is there are so many closets and the basement is awesome for storage. I absolutely hate the hard wood floors though. Maybe I just don't know how to take care of them. I have been vacuuming them but now I am sweeping and mopping. It seems to be working better.

All geared up for summer
We went Friday and signed Ashley up for soccer and some youth of youth things at the rec centre. It is ages 12 to 17 so she won't be doing activities with a bunch of little kids. She is signed up for a kayaking course, hiking course and I think the other one is a fitness extreme- Running, swimming and outdoors stuff. These are all 5 day course during the day so that should keep her busy for a few weeks. Soccer is 7 weeks. We also went and visited a place that has indoor rock climbing that she can go to open climb. She is really excited about getting out and making some friends. I can only entertain her so much during the day.
Today we cleaned and did some laundry this morning. Aaron replaced more light bulbs. I think while this house was on the market they left all the lights on. Since we moved in we have had to replace most of the bulbs. Today he did the outside recessed and flood lights. Then we went to downtown. For the past week I have been looking for my hair dryer and straightener. I finally realized I might have left it in the hotel. After calling them and confirming it was there we went and picked it up. We also went and bought jackets for Ash and I. They are all 50% off so now is the time to buy. We stopped at the store on the way home. Aaron wanted to make seafood chowder again. We don't mind though, it is so good.

I must say that I have been blessed with the best friends and family a girl can ask for. First of all my sister allowed all 5 of us to stay at her house for 2 weeks while our house stuff was on the move and we were homeless in Texas. She having her own family and a 2 year old opened her home to us. I must say it was good times. We ate some good food, after Aaron got home of course. hehe I kept pushing Whataburger but didn't have much luck.
On the Tuesday after memorial day we had a girl's night planned. My friend Jenn planned it all out. She invited some of my friends and we all ate dinner at BJ's Brewhouse. Then we headed over to the Chocolate Bar. I being from Houston have never even heard of the Chocolate Bar. It was not a bar, night club type. It was desserts, pies, chocolate, ice cream and HEAVEN!!!! It was so good. Friday my sister, Tasha and I had plans to go see Sex and the City. I was dying to see it since I was a huge fan of the series. I was so sad that our 4th girl (Deanna) couldn't make it since she now lives in Austin. We met Tasha there and when we took our seats there was this chick in the seat next to me practically sitting on top of me. I looked at Tasha and was about to make a rude comment about the girl next to me when she turned around. IT WAS DEANNA. She drove all the way from Austin just to see the movie with me. I was shocked and excited. You don't understand that every Sunday night we were glued to our tv's watching Sex and the City. If we weren't together we were talking about it on the phone when it was over. GOOD TIMES!!!! GTGT
Aaron's parents came in on Saturday to visit Houston and eat at the Pueb one last time. We didn't do much. Just visited and hung around the house. Yea my sister let them stay too. We had a full house but like I said before it's always good times. I love family and wouldn't trade anything in the world for them.
Anytime anyone wants to come visit just let me know. We would really love to have you. We have plenty of room!
I will miss everyone so much but remember it's only temporary.

Moving day. Is that truck big enough? Apparently not because they put Aaron's bbq pit (300 lbs) on top of our brand new wood desk. We are filing a claim on our broken, scratched desk.
:( It's probably our most favorite piece of furniture too.

Yay we have internet. We received the kit on Monday but since there is an alarm on the house they had to send someone out to bypass it. So today we finally have the internet. We just got satellite yesterday. We have been watching one channel for over a week. (CBC)
I am also happy to report that Kiki has been found and is in the loving care of Dustin and Tasha until we can get him in October. Tasha is a little upset though because Kiki is not used to being in the house and loves her brand new couch. She has resorted to a spray bottle of water to keep him off the couch. We are still missing Sabine but Kiki has been my cat for over 7 years and I was a little upset about him missing. Sabine was a take in from a neighbor who was moving. I am sure someone is loving on her somewhere.
We have had some awesome weather since we have been in Canada. With the exception of the sunrise at 5 AM and the sunset at 9:30 PM. Seriously it's crazy and since our house overlooks the bay not many windows have shades on them. The first morning we were here I heard the babies waking up so I went into their room and sang their good morning song. When I glanced at the clock and realized it was 5 am I nearly fell over. It looked like it was 8 am outside. It has taken a few days for the babies to get back on their schedule, ok it's been a week but they are back to going to bed at 7 and waking at 7. There were few nights before we moved into the house and we were in the hotel that they were waking 3 or 4 times a night. I thought oh joy it's like having a newborn all over again. Thank god we got past that.
We have also had some pretty amazing food. Starting with the seafood chowder Aaron made last Saturday. It had salmon, scallops, shrimp and cod in a cream sauce. Seafood is really cheap here so I am sure we will be eating alot of it. I got chicken today ON SALE for $5.99 a lb. Gas is $5.50 a GALLON, today, (sold by the liter), milk is $3.61 sold in 2 liters only. That's at Costco! It's crazy how some things are pricey but others are not. I got baby food for .33 a jar and formula $20 for a big can. Diapers are about the same.
My last but favorite story so far is our first moose sighting. Aaron was in the office and Ashley and I were in the living room when we heard Aaron yelling for us to COME SEE! There was a moose in our front yard. He was huge. He wandered around before he headed off into the woods beside our house. I saw him about 30 mins later in the backyard eating the leafs off one of our trees. We got alot of pictures of him while he was in the back. Apparently the moose are on the move because there are all sort of signs and commercials on tv and radio to look out for them crossing the roads.
I miss everyone and hope you are all well. Sorry for the long time between posts. Now that we have internet I will post more often. Not having the tv or computer was good thing through because the house is completely done.

Our first day in our new country
I will start with Sunday. We went to Dustin and Tasha's to say our goodbye's and to try and find the cats. We could not find either of them when we went Saturday but thought we would try again Sunday. I drove all around the neighborhood and could not find them. We made a bunch of lost cat signs and hung them on every mailbox in the neighborhood. So needless to say we left for our flight with out our cats. I called Home Again (micro chip company) to report them missing. Hopefully someone will find them, I have had Kiki for 7 years. We even went to the old house and let them know in case the cats decide to pull a Homeward Bound on us. The good bye's were tough Jakob looked at me and said Staci you look so sad! Katharine said Aunt Staci crying. It was pretty tough. We went to Michelles to get our stuff packed and say our goodbye's there.
Monday morning 5 am. We get up and are out the door by 5:30 to go to the airport. Michelle and I tried to avoid each other since we already said our goodbyes and shed some tears the night before. We didn't want to have to do it all over again.
The airport was great. We got there and got all checked in. I fed the babies their food while Aaron checked in the bags. We then boarded the plane and fed them their bottles while we took off. There was an empty seat next to me so Ash sat there. That left an empty seat next to Aaron. Preston slept the whole time and Aaron got to hold him and watch a movie. Lily decided to take cat naps and watch 27 dresses with me. The flight to Toronto was awesome. I wish I could say the same for our experience in Toronto. We got there at 11:30 am. Our connection was to leave at 1:50. Shouldn't have been a problem except we had to go through customs, immigration, secondary customs, get our bags, recheck them and then go through security. We thought we were doing so well. We got our bags put on a cart and Aaron was running like a mad man through the airport. We got to the customs agent and Aaron practically ran over another passenger. I asked him to please calm down and he said well he should be able to see I am in a hurry. It was hilarious I could imagine what this guy was thinking seeing Aaron barreling toward him with a cart full of luggage with fury in his eyes. We had a long line in immigration so..............
We missed our connection. The desk clerk then said we had to go back down get our bags and re check them for our new flight at 4 pm. So Aaron and Ash went down to do this while I laid a blanket and some toys on the floor and played with the babies at an empty, quiet gate. By this time it was 1 pm. Ash and Aaron sat down there for 2 hours while the baggage agent tried to locate our bags. I finally called him and told him just to leave them and come to the gate. We all made the flight to St John's and got in around 8. Our luggage did not make it. It was fine though because I had plenty of stuff for the babies in our carry on. Air Canada gave us car seats for the drive to our hotel. The luggage was delivered first thing this morning.
We woke up and went to the customs office to declare our household goods. The moving company will be there tomorrow to unpack our stuff. Aaron went to the office for a little bit and the rest of us went to Costco. We all met back at the house ad went to dinner at Aaron's new favorite sushi place. We stayed at the house for a while though while Ash and and Aaron went exploring. I am trying to remember all the details since it has been a blur the past few days. We have lots of pictures that we will have to post in the next few days.
Off to bed we have an early morning. I miss everyone. The weather here was 65 degrees today and very sunny!

Almost ready. Aaron and I have spent the week getting last minute things done before we leave for Canada on Monday. We have put the Camaro in storage, disconnected all the utilities, and today we will turn in Aaron's company truck. Today is also Ashley's last day at school. Some of the pictures were taken this past weekend at Jakob's 4th birthday.

Homeless
Welp the movers have our whole house on their truck. They came on Tuesday, 6 of them. They completely packed everything in one day. I was so amazed. Seriously they wrapped, labeled and inventoried everything. Wednesday they came and loaded it on the truck. Oh and they packed the attic Wednesday since I forgot to tell them about it on Tuesday, hehe. I went over today after I dropped Ashley off at school and vacuumed and cleaned up.
I was in the middle of posting this last night when Preston woke up around 8:30. Well he never went to sleep but he was quiet so I thought he was sleeping. Anyway I didn't know what was wrong so I went in and smelled...........poop. I changed him and we fell asleep in minutes. They are still sleeping from 7 to 7. We get them up and drive Ashley to school......only 3 more days.
Aaron comes home today, his flight lands at 11:30 am, YIPPY!!!!!!
