We are so excited to see Nana and Pop in 1 week!!!! They will be our first visitors since we moved to Canada. I hope the weather is nice. Yesterday it was so gorgeous. We went to the playground then to run errands since today called for rain.
Last week we went to the library to get Ashley some books about Canada geography and history. We certainly don't want her to be the American that doesn't know anything about Canada. She has learned quit a bit and so have we. Did you know that there are more Caribou than people in Newfoundland? That's amazing, you would think that they would be every where. I personally haven't seen one but I will keep an eye out now that I know there are so many. I have been hoping to make a trip to Salmonier Nature Park when the weather is nice. It's a park that is set in animals natural habitat. Maybe before Ashley goes back to school we can get there.
Speaking of animals. Yesterday while at the playground we saw a huge bird flying over. We all thought it was a hawk until it turned and you could see it's wing span and white head/tail. It was a BALD EAGLE!!! It was the most beautiful sight, especially being and American and knowing the symbolic meaning of a bald eagle.
Is there anything you want to see more of on this blog (pictures, videos, specific topics) leave a comment to let me know.

Hi there, thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment! My mom and grandparents were from Newfoundland and so I've been there a number of times. It's a pretty unique place with great people! I hope you enjoy your time there.
Just wanted to say hi. I have 12 month old boy/girl twins and I love reading your blog. I'm from Texas (Fort Worth), but moved to Indiana with my husband a few years ago. I've had a hard time adjusting to the cold winters. I can only imagine how it will be for YOU!!!! :-) I'm sure Canada is beautiful though!
Just thought I should post something instead of always being a lurker! haha
Congrats on your visitors! Can you believe how old our babies were? It seems like AGES ago when we were pregnant and on babycenter together!
Yay 3 new blogs for me to read. Thanks girls.
