Double the blessing

We have had a few exciting events around here lately. First off Sunday morning Lily woke up bright and early at 6:15 am. She was crying very unusually so I jumped out of bed to see what was wrong. I went in the room to find her standing up in the crib. She was crying because she couldn't figure out how to get down. I laid her down in hopes that she would go back to sleep.........yea right. I ended up getting up for the day and just taking a nap later. Later in the day Aaron moved both mattresses down so that we don't have any accidents.


Preston also has a new trick. Whenever he hears music he starts to sway from side to side. Sometimes he even gets into the music and shakes his butt!!!

The babies have also had their first taste of feeding themselves. That didn't go so well but they had fun. I cut up some avocado and let them have at it. The rest are some other pictures from dinner that night.

The weather is back to rain and fog. Today is actually the first day since Friday that we have seen that bright yellow thing in the sky. Hopefully Ashley will get to go to her soccer game today. We have conquered school shopping this year. I took Ashley to the mall yesterday to get some school clothes. It wasn't too bad. I just set the ground rules/budget before we left and got it all done. School doesn't start here until after labor day so there are about 3 weeks left. She wants to get some Vans shoes in Texas when we go in October since they don't have them here, very odd that they don't sell them here, but whatever.
